Tether is Corinne’s experimental psychological-thriller short film funded by UNC’s Rick Dees Scholarship.

Corinne Somers’ “Found” Footage series is a collection of work created from existing video and sound, showcasing the power editing holds to reinvent media.

As a part of a class, Somers was the showrunner of a fourteen-episode web series titled KICKBALL. This low-budget, off-beat, faux-documentary series follows a college intramural kickball team on their struggles to prepare for the championship.

Somers’ installation at Duke’s Rubenstein Arts Center had a video projection component that comprised VHS Home Movies from Corinne’s childhood. The edit consists of distorted visual memories, matched with echoed audio and passing streams of consciousness.
